Our hero. The honey that rivals Manuka.
Deep, dark and complex, with a smooth caramel finish. One of the most powerfully active honeys on earth — and one of the rarest, from a eucalypt that flowers just once every two years.
Certified beyond the label. In Australia, TA 35+ is the highest activity a honey label may legally state — but our honey is certified more active than that (roughly MGO 2,000+, rising with activity) by the National Measurement Institute, the Australian Government’s national authority on measurement. Activity varies naturally by harvest; every batch is independently tested.
From a single family apiary in the Perth hills, where the Jarrah eucalypt blooms only once every two years, comes a honey unlike any other. Slow, raw and unblended, with a naturally low GI and a smooth, mellow character — where Manuka is earthy and medicinal, Jarrah is rounded and refined.
Approximate MGO guide (for buyers used to Manuka): TA 35+ ≈ MGO 2,000+, rising with activity — for example TA 46 ≈ MGO 3,000 and TA 63 ≈ MGO 4,400. These are indicative antimicrobial equivalents only; Jarrah is a peroxide honey, so TA and MGO are measured differently.
Tasting notes
Dark amber · caramel and malt · smooth, lingering finish · low GI (~46). Best enjoyed by the spoon, stirred into warm water, or drizzled over yoghurt and cheese — never high heat.
